When Benny Frandsen designed his Ball wall lamp back in 1968, he could never have imagined how many books and magazines would be illuminated by its cozy light. This iconic metal ball – easily rotatable on its built-in magnet – is simply made for reading, whether you are on the sofa or in bed. And it’s the perfect solution if you want to give a room both light and shade.
The fun, ball-shaped lamp was a Danish institution in the 1970s and was typically brown or orange to suit the style of 70s Danish homes. However, as the following decades have proven, the Ball has become a classic – and rightly so. As it turns out, the shape is so timeless that it works well with any style.

It gives excellent light for reading, and the light can be angled in any direction due to the rotatable shades. Simply loosen the screws to adjust the height of the two shades.
